USA Track & Field and members of the Mountain, Ultra & Trail Running Council have a zero tolerance policy regarding performance enhancing substances. Athletes qualifying for the IAU Trail Championships may be subject to out-of-competition testing and in-competition testing. For questions about the list of banned drugs, please visit USADA's website at www.usada.org. There are Therapeutic Use Exemptions (referred to as TUEs) for some medications on the banned list which athletes must take for an ongoing illness, or medical issues. Crew Directions

Start / North Shelter AS to Old Mill AS: Exit park, take left on Enfield Falls Rd / Rt 327. Proceed uphill 2.8 miles, take left into upper entrance to Park. After passing through entrance gate take an immediate left, cross an immediate small bridge, and park in lot to the right. Walk back across bridge toward Old Mill, AS down path to the left.

Old Mill AS to Underpass AS: Re-exit the park, take a right to drive back and into the lower entrance of the Park, pass the start area, pass the office, drive over the fjordway, through the camping area, and to the end of the road. Park along the drive/grass so that other cars can pass and turn around. DO NOT DRIVE FURTHER THAN CONE WITH NO PARKING SIGN AS COURSE CROSSES JUST BEYOND. Walk toward the end of the drive and follow the trail to the left underneath the underpass to the Underpass Aid Station. ALSO NOTE THAT YOU ARE ON THE COURSE WITH RUNNERS COMING IN BEHIND YOU SO PLEASE BE AWARE AND GIVE ALL RUNNERS THE RIGHT OF WAY! (Note: this is different than prior years where you were able to park in the underpass lot…we overflowed and created a traffic/safety hazard….lot will be reserved for volunteers / Race personnel only).

Underpass AS to Buttermilk AS: Re-exit park, take a right onto 327, left onto Rt. 13 (watch traffic…tricky intersection), and a right into Buttermilk State Park in about 1.5 miles (before the blue overpass bridge). DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE A.S….ALL VOLUNTEERS AND CREWS MUST PROCEED THROUGH THE PARK GATE AND PARK IN THE OFFICIAL LOT.

Backtrack as needed.
